A Peek Inside the Danielle Sara Photography Studio

Welcome to the Danielle Sara Photography Studio!  If you didn’t get a chance to visit during the Open House event, here is a little peek into my space. It is a 950 sq ft studio located just down the road from Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in the Gables Upper Rock district of Rockville, Maryland. The location is very conveniently located for the surrounding MD, VA, and DC area. Each session is scheduled ‘by appointment only’.  I also plan to hold fun events throughout the year.

When you first enter the studio, it feels very open and airy. There is tons of natural light and 25 ft.  ceilings. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to help design the layout since this was a new construction building. The high, open ceilings are one of my favorite parts!  I decorated the front space like a living room so it is warm and inviting; a relaxing spot to hang out during a session. You'll notice it is all purple and gray to match my branding, of course! The front wall is covered in Organic Bloom frames so clients can see how beautiful the wall artwork would look in their own home. This is also where we meet for ordering appointments, clients can pick up their packages and artwork, and where I have my office.

In the back is the shooting area where the sessions take place. This area is perfect with plenty of space for a variety of backdrops and set ups. There are two huge shooting walls so I can move between different setups with less hassle.  I  have all the conveniences of home for mom and baby from lotions to diapers to snacks and more. My prop storage room and packaging area is also back here. The props are directly next to the shooting area giving me easy access to all of the blankets, baskets, hats, wraps, etc, that I need. There is tons to choose from!

All of the keepsake products such as albums, cards, canvasses, books, frames, and more are displayed throughout the studio. Clients can see the beautiful quality and unique options available up close.

I’ve been shooting here for about four months and I absolutely love it. My clients do too!  The studio is the perfect spot to provide a comfortable and customized experience for my clients.
